Pickleball

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Come see what this popular sport is all about!
Similar to ping pong, badminton and tennis, it’s a fun active game that can be mastered by anyone with athletic skills. Pickleball was created during the summer of 1965 and is currently the fastest growing sport in the United States.  It is played on a court with a net lowered to 34" and uses a perforated plastic ball (similar to a wiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles.  Class size is limited

We offer many levels, you do not need to be 'top athletes' to participate and safely enjoy the game, you must be able to run faster than you walk!!

Participants must bring their own paddle to the program. Call our office if you are not sure which type of paddle to purchase.

IMPORTANT - please read before registering
Before registering for any pickleball class, please click on the link below for skill rating definitions to see if you fall into the category you are registering for. If you are currently in the beginners/intermediate class  please talk with your instructor to ensure you are ready for the next level.
If you do register and our instructor feels you are in the wrong level, he/she may move you to another class or ask you to wait for the next session of another level.  This is to assure registrants are in the correct level and therefore all registrants are getting the most out of their program.
